Transferring programs
In some situations it may be possible to change the program for which you have received your letter of offer. To change programs, you will be required to request a 'change of preference' or an 'internal transfer' - which one you request will be determined by your enrolment status:
Change of Preference
A change of preference is when you wish to be considered for entry to a new program that has different entrance requirements to that of the program you've already received a letter of offer for, but have not yet enrolled in. In this situation, your application will need to be reassessed for entry to the new program. If you have not commenced online enrolment into the program for which you have received your letter of offer, and wish to enrol into a different program, you will be required to contact the Admissions team to request a change of preference.
| Changes of preference will be accepted until: | Semester 1, 2010 |
Semester 2, 2010 |
Local applicants |
24 February | 21 July |
International applicants overseas |
22 January | 18 June |
International applicants already in Australia |
19 February | 16 July |
Any applicant who wishes to change their preference after these dates will be required to contact their program's administrative team, and may be required to enrol into the program for which they have been made an offer.
Internal Transfer
If you have completed your online enrolment and are a confirmed student, you will be required to contact your program administrator and request an internal transfer.
Students who are already enrolled in a graduate program with another faculty will be required to submit a new application with the Melbourne Graduate School of Management.
