Orientation and Enrolment

 

International Student Briefing

International Student Services will be hosting an International Student Briefing on Friday 19 February for all new international students. This is different to the Melbourne Graduate School of Management Orientation Day, and all international students who have arrived in Melbourne by Friday 19 February are requested to attend both sessions.



Melbourne Graduate School of Management Orientation Day

Orientation Day will be held in the Basement Lecture Theatre, 198 Berkeley Street and commences at 9:30am on:


Semester 1, 2010
Semester 2, 2010
Saturday 20 February 2009 Saturday 17 July 2010

 

All new students are required to attend the Melbourne Graduate School of Management Orientation Day , and all new international students must attend in addition to the International Student Briefing.


Master of Management students are required to also attend the Pre-Semester Program, which commences the following Monday (Orientation Week). Students from all other programs are also welcome, and strongly encouraged to participate.


Online enrolment

Online enrolment for new students will be available between the following dates:

Semester 2, 2010
Saturday 20 February and Friday 5 March, 2010 Saturday 17 July and Friday 30 July, 2010

Graduate Orientation Program

The University of Melbourne Graduate Orientation Program (PDF xxMB) runs between (exact times TBA). Students have the opportunity to participate in campus tours, information sessions and attend activities such as the Student Services Fair and Bush Dance.

 

Orientation Welcome Centre

All new students are encouraged to visit the Welcome Centre on the (exact location TBA) . Here you can ask questions, get directions, meet current students and collect further information regarding orientation events on campus, enrolment or life in Melbourne.



You should also make time to visit the Graduate Centre, jointly administered by the Melbourne School of Graduate Research (MGSR) and the GSA (Graduate Student Association) the University of Melbourne Postgraduate Association (UMPA). Located in the heritage-listed 1888 Building, it is the hub of graduate activity on the Parkville Campus (Building 198).
