International Student Services

If you are an international student, the experience of study overseas is both rewarding and challenging. To help you make the most of your time at the University of Melbourne, support services are available for you and your family. These services cover each stage of the study cycle and include pre-departure briefings, assisting you on arrival in Melbourne, helping you to adjust to your new environment, and preparing you for your return home.

Visit International Student Services for more information.

Career services

Melbourne GSM students also enjoy the support of a dedicated Graduate Careers Centre, which provides professional and career development programs, including industry mentors, internships and employer days.

Orientation

The Melbourne GSM Orientation Program, held at the beginning of each semester, provides new students with an opportunity to learn about services available and receive further advice on the enrolment process, while getting to know other graduate students. As part of the Orientation Program, current Melbourne GSM students act as hosts to welcome new students onto campus, answer questions in an informal setting and assist students in their adjustment to graduate study.
