Master of Management (Economics)
Overview
The Master of Management (Economics) will equip you with the skills and attributes required of a professional economist in the public or private sector. The program builds a strong foundation in business and management disciplines, and then delves deeper into the key areas of economics, including policy analysis.
Designed for recent graduates from any discipline, and those early in their business careers, it does not require prior business training or preparation.
All Master of Management students are required to attend theMaster of Management Pre-Semester Program, a free week-long academic orientation program that will help you develop essential study and professional skills, and familiarise yourself with the University's facilities.

Four free electives to be taken from the Master of Management elective subject listing.The elective subjects for Master of Management programs can be chosen from any subjects taught within the MMgt programs. The number of electives you may choose varies with each program. Selection of electives is subject to approval by the Program Director and meeting any prerequisite requirements and other conditions for the subject.

Minimum entry requirements
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline, or equivalent
- A minimum score of 550 in the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)
- A personal statement
- The Selection Committee may conduct interviews and tests and may call for referee reports or employer references to elucidate any of the matters referred to above.

Exit points
If you are unable or choose not to continue with your studies, you may be eligible to be awarded the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Management.
