Graduate Certificate in Business Forensics
Overview
Business Forensics is the new frontier of accounting and business information systems.
It is a growing area of consulting that draws upon accounting, auditing and investigative skills to determine economic loss and/or business valuations arising out of commercial disputes or criminal behaviour. As such, the forensic specialist normally has a traditional commerce background, but is further trained in legal processes, business valuation methods, investigative techniques, and increasingly, information technology forensic processes.
The Graduate Certificate in Business Forensics is a short, professionally relevant program catering to industry demand.
Students with an undergraduate degree in accounting who receive the Graduate Certificate in Business Forensics can credit the four subjects taken in the Graduate Certificate towards the Master of Accounting.
