Student Support
At the Melbourne Graduate School of Management, we realise that some students may occasionally require further support from us with issues that may affect them.
Students who have a grievance with an academic, or another member of the University are advised to first refer to our
Grievances page for further information on how to proceed with the grievance.
Students who have been significantly affected by illness or other serious circumstances (not ongoing) during the semester or during the exam period are asked to first refer to our Special Consideration page. Students who require alternative exam arrangements are also advised to refer to this page for further instruction.
If you've failed a subject, and are not sure what happens next, you should familiarise yourself with our Student at Risk and Unsatisfactory Progress procedures.
As a University of Melbourne student, you are also encouranged to use the University's extensive support services, which are all listed on our 'Other University Services' page.
If you are not sure where to go to, or who to turn to with an issue that you're facing, please contact your program administrator, or come and see us in the Melbourne GSM Student Centre. We strongly encourage our students to advise us of any problems they are dealing with as soon as possible, and not to suffer in silence. If we are unable to assist you, we can refer you to another appropriate person or service.
