Melbourne Graduate School of Management Current Students

Subject Changes

All students may change subjects online during a three week period each semester. The online subject selection system opens one week before semester starts, and closes two weeks after semester starts. Any student who has not decided between two subjects within the first two weeks of semester is asked to attend lectures for both subjects until they make a decision. Students are not permitted to change into a new subject after the second week of semester unless they can prove they have been attending class from the beginning of semester, by way of a signature/ letter from the lecturer of the subject concerned.

Any student wishing to make changes to their enrolment after the first two weeks of semester will need to submit a Subject Change form (PDF, 465kb) to the Melbourne Graduate School of Management in order to make a subject change. If you want to study a subject that is not part of your program, you will need to get written approval on the back of the form from the subject coordinator and your Academic Program Director. All students must meet all pre-requisites for subjects in which they wish to enrol. If you are unsure of whether there are any pre-requisites for your chosen subjects, you can check subject entries in the Online Handbook.

Please note: The online subject selection system does not open for Summer Semester, and students wanting to add or withdraw from Summer Semester subjects are required to complete a Subject Change form.

Which Subjects Are Full?

Unfortunately particular subjects can reach capacity at various times throughout the year, and in this instance we are unable to approve any further enrolments. If any subjects reach capacity they will be listed here, and students may request to have their name placed on a waiting list should any vacancies arise:
