Melbourne Graduate School of Management Current Students

Overloading

Students in all graduate programs are not normally permitted to enrol in more than four (12.5 point) subjects (or equivalent load) in Semester 1 or Semester 2, and are only permitted to enrol in a maximum of two (12.5 point) subjects during Summer Semester, if they have a good academic record and the timetable permits.
Students must request permission to exceed these limits. In extreme extenuating circumstances students may be permitted to enrol in 5 (12.5 point) subjects (or equivalent load) in semester 1 or 2 only. Students who wish to overload must apply in writing to the Associate Dean (Academic Programs) who will consult with the Academic Program Director to assess the suitability and circumstances of each case on an individual basis.
