Melbourne Graduate School of Management Current Students

Grievances & Complaint Resolution

Academic

If a student is unable to resolve a serious problem with a lecturer/supervisor he or she should first ask the Head of Department to help. If the Head is unable to resolve the problem the matter should be taken up with the Associate Dean (Academic Programs). If the Head and/or Associate Dean (Academic Programs) are unable to resolve the problem, the Dean should then be approached.

Administration

Students who have any administrative difficulties should first ask the Manager (Melbourne Business School) to help. If the Manager (Melbourne Business School) is unable to resolve the problem the matter should then be taken up with the Faculty General Manager.

These steps should be taken as soon as the problem arises. Help is also available from the University of Melbourne Postgraduate Association, the Faculty Mental Health Officer, the University Counselling Service and the University's Equal Opportunity Officer.
